SPH EMPLOYEES PERFORM BARONGSAI
(Surabaya, 16 January 2012) All over the country is going to have a good time of Chinese New Year where Barongsai show is amongst of the festivity. Along with the celebration, the management of Surabaya Plaza Hotel (SPH) is dedicating a unique Barongsai performance which is performed by SPHemployee themselves.
The management is grateful to stage the show to public and hotel guest. The show was arranged since one month previous to under the proficient teaching from Indo Lion Professional Barongsai. The employees were practised to step, do acrobatic action as well as take part in music synchronization.
‘We combine acrobatic dance and comedy within, thought to be very impressive, entertaining and nothing like other Barongsai show performed by professional in which humour is rarely part of’, Yusak Anshori the General Manager of the hotel remarks within the show carried out at the hotel lobby on Monday January 16th 11.00 am ‘The funniness certainly grows up in not only the plot but also the slip of the players since the employees are newly-recruited Barongsai, He adds.
In accordance with the festivity, the hotel redecorates the lobby and outlets with special Chinese ornament to spread more astonishing sense and allow hotel guests take pleasure in taking picture at some corners. This year combination of Indonesian & Chinese culture draw the decoration where traditional bird cage painted in red following Chinese ornament color and mei hwa flower pour main decoration in the hotel lobby.
Alongside New Year amusement, SPH brings Nasi Goreng Jancuk in latest serving dish. Now we use frying pan as serving dish to give more time-honored consciousness. Besides, the hotel now proposes level of spicy for this product. Consumer might opt for HOT or AVERAGE.
