Bukit Darmo Golf Tournament

In celebrating its anniversary, Bukit Darmo Golf is hosting an amateur golf tournament in Surabaya, in which both local and international golfers will participate in this tournament.

Cultural Parade

A grand cultural and flower parade has always opened the series of events during Surabaya Anniversary for the past few years. This year, as Surabaya celebrates its 717th anniversary, all participants will go down the main streets of Surabaya to show their best performances in cultural and flower attraction. The festive parade starts from Tugu Pahlawan (Heroes Monument) and finishes in Taman Surya Balai Kota Surabaya (Surabaya City Hall).

Supporting Indonesia's tourism program, "Visit Indonesia Year 2010", as well as celebrating the international museum day, House of Sampoerna invites you to go around the city and visit some museums in their themed tour package.

Cak and Ning Awarding Night

Annually, some young men and women will present their knowledge in front of Surabaya's key persons and a couple will be chosen as Cak and Ning to bear a mission in promoting Surabaya's culture and tourism.

In order to provide business opportunities for the travel and tourism industry to market East Java's tourism industry to both domestic and international tour operators, Majapahit Travel Fair has taken its role as the most important gathering in the province. Some major activities, such as, a "Table-Top Business Meeting" for buyers and sellers (Travex), half-day workshop and an exhibition where the sellers and exhibitors display their facilities and services have become parts of this annual event.

Rujak Uleg Festival

It is an extraordinary food festival that rises Rujak Uleg (some sort of salad with the mixture of peanut sauce, chili and terasi as its dressing) as a famous traditional Surabaya culinary in the city's anniversary. What an extraordinary scene to watch hundreds or even thousands of people gather around and compete to make the best Rujak Uleg, featuring also a huge cobek to make it. What a feast!
